The Bob Brown Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament has been created to remember and honor a wonderful husband, father, ‘papa’ and friend. Through the generosity of all who knew Bob, a scholarship fund has been set up to continue his legacy.
Bob was a dedicated family man, hard-working businessman and enthusiastic high school sports fan. He excelled to be the best in all aspects of his life and expected no less from others. His integrity, honesty and ability to overcome any obstacle led him to all his successes.
As an avid supporter of youth athletics in the Maple Grove and Osseo area for many years, Bob was able to share his enjoyment of sports like baseball, football, hockey and golf with the next generation. Because of his special interest in youth athletics and strong work ethic, it is only appropriate we honor Bob by investing in the future of dedicated scholars.
The Bob Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund will award scholarships to students planning to attend post-secondary college or trade school.
The values and standards that Bob held, both in his professional and personal lives, will become important factors in selecting scholarship recipients.
